I will never forget that day that the eagles were soaring above the home we were vacationing in on Campobello Island.  The wind had picked up considerably and when that happens the eagles that nest on the island take flight.  They were everywhere!  It was one of the most spectacular things I had ever seen.  I was photographing this event like a crazy man but the best shot of all was the one I captured after the free fro all soaring settled down.  A full grown adult Bald Eagle was perched atop a small pine tree just above the shore.  I carefully moved toward him and just when I thought I was going to take a nice portrait of him he took off.  I just tracked him with my lens and kept snapping shots.  As it turned out this photo I call “Majestic Flight” was more than I could have imagined.
