One of the advantages to buying a car online is the ‘build-a-car’ feature offered by many auto transport company websites.  Basically, you are asked a series of questions relating to what you are looking for in a car.  Depending on how sophisticated the ‘build-a-car’ feature is, you may be able to design your car through special templates provided on the site.  These templates would help you determine your car’s color, both for the interior and exterior. 

Of course, don’t think that with the ‘build-a-car’ feature you’re actually given the power to design a completely new car.  All you are really doing is giving detailed specifications on the type of car you want… a car that is already on the lot of the dealership associated with the website.  Yet, it is still innovative because it allows for more customization.  Sure, you might be able to request these types of specifications in person at a brick-and-mortar dealership, but the process would take a lot more time.
