I run a site on how to save money on gas so naturally I get asked by people for my best gas saving tips and what I do to save money on gas.  People think that I must drive a car that runs on water or that I have hamsters running around in little wheels to power my vehicle.  The truth of it is that I don’t do any of those things.  I do use a gas card but I don’t use any of those so called “magic” devices that promise huge savings in gas.  Instead, I do what I can.  I have an inefficient vehicle that I drive around (a van) when I need to but most of the time I drive around my motorcycle which gives me 50mpg so even when gas is $4/gallon, I can still fill up my tank inexpensively.
