I can’t remember the guys name, but I have heard him quoted several times. In the quote, the man claims that a patent office is no longer needed because everything that was going to be invented in the world has already been invented. This was probably over 100 years ago. Can you imagine if nothing had been invented since then? I think people would go stir crazy if they didn’t constantly question "What if…?" I know I personally think about what life might be like when my own children are my age. And what about their kids? It would be neat to be able to glimpse into the future.
