Having done payroll work for a company back in the day and having once punched in to work myself, I can tell you first hand that there are a lot of problems associated with traditional punch clocks. There is of course, the oldest trick in the book, where in you punch in a friend’s timecard for them when nobody’s looking. There is also quite a lot of time and expense and a very sizable margin for error when it comes to processing and reconciling how you should pay someone exactly. With a Biometric Punch Clock you can no longer pull the oldest trick in the book anymore and when integrated with a good payroll system, makes payrolls definitely headache and error free.
