There has been some recent studies taken that show Premenstrual Syndrome might be caused by calcium deficiency. Calcium is arguably the most important mineral in the body because it supports so many different functions other than bones health. Calcium deficiency can have such symptoms as muscle contraction, transmission of nerve impulses, blood clotting, regulating your metabolism, regulating hormones, and more. So it is not that far fetched to that calcium deficiency may be linked with the , mood swings, pain and cramps that are connected with PMS. So calcium as a PMS Treatment might not be a bad thing to try.
