I would like to become a physical therapist, but I am not great at dealing with older people. I am sure I could do the job, but I would much prefer to work with athletes who have been injured while participating in their sport. I am personally, an avid athlete and have a passion for helping other athletes pursue and attain their goals. In the past, I have enjoyed coaching, but after having to go through physical therapy myself, I would like to find a physical therapist job description that is specific to working with injured athletes only. I formed a bond with my physical therapist, who had the same feelings about the profession as I do, and I would like to experience that with my patients.
