Over the years in the restaurant business I have made a few friends from all over the country and being that I worked in a British pub I have made a lot of friends in the United Kingdom as well. I would love to go over and visit them someday and they have been very generous to offer up their homes for me to stay in. The problem I would have is that when I traveled from friend to friend there may be an occasional stay that needed to be in a hotel. Are hotel room bookings in the uk as affordable as here in the states?
