When you’re out camping, there are a small number of annoying things that can happen to you.  You can get rained out.  You can camp in mosquito central.  And you can get poison ivy or some other equally annoying rash from a plant.  I can recognize and identify poison ivy, so the last time I got it was kind of a surprise although it shouldn’t be.  I was out screwing around with some friends in the dark in an area with heavy plant growth.  Sure, I can identify poison ivy in the daylight, but certainly not at night seeing as how I could barely see what I was doing (climbing) in the first place.  Okay, so maybe I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed…
