 Solar garden lights can be used for purposes such as the enhancement of your landscaping or providing lighting around walkways, decks or stairs. They are used to reflect light around a body of water, as around a koi pond or to provide light on your dock. We, however, have come up with a different usage for solar garden lights. We use them indoors! Presently, we have between 3-5 in use for evening lighting in the house. In the morning, they are taken outside to collect ‘the rays’. In the evening, they are brought into the house to provide light for the evening and as nightlights. Right now there are several in the kitchen and one in the bathroom. There are several types of solar garden lights available. Some are flat based and can be put on a table or window sill, others can be hung from a hook from the ceiling. The solar garden lights would be great for a child’s bedroom as a nightlight.
