I highly recommend solar garden lights. I had a solar-powered turtle light, and it served me well for several years. I kept it by my front stoop. It was affordable, only costing ten or fifteen dollars at a local discount retailer. I loved the reassuring glow it provided. There’s just nothing quite like seeing that pleasant light when you return home at night after a long day. The fact that I didn’t have to remember to switch on a porch light was great. Even better, I wasn’t running up the electrical bill with my light. The sun was the source of that coveted glow.
