On a Sheet Music website, I was browsing through the how to read guitar tabs. There is an excellent selection of guitar instruction and music on this website. I purchased several books on just playing riffs by reading guitar tabs. They are the coolest books. The books are divided by a category of a year. For example, one book would be for 1970’s riffs. Inside would be many selections of popular songs in the 1970’s and the poplar riff that went with the song. All of these can be played with guitar tabs. There are books for 1980’s, 1990’s, etc. giving a great variety.
