It seems like it would be a simple issue to get rid of fleas. Just wash the animal with flea soap and kill all the fleas and the problem is solved. The truth however is that this doesn’t do the whole trick. Often the fleas around the house repopulate the animal and your back to square one watching your poor dog scratch over and over again. Their are ways however of preventing fleas. Their are medications that you put on the shoulder blades of the animal that will get into their blood and release safe to the animal but harmful to fleas a toxin. The fleas die when they bite the animal, and eventually without blood the fleas around the house die too.
