Do you ever wonder what happens to your plastic bags with you put them in the trash? For years they ended up in landfills and will remain there for longer than you and I will be around. Now through plastic bag recycling we can keep the landfill clean and produce valuable products for the consumer. A lot of the recyclable plastic material can be used to make composite lumber for decks and other construction projects. Most of it is reprocessed into small pellets called post consumer resin.
