IEEE is the Institite of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and they came up with a set of standards called 802.11 RFID for use with WiFi technology. So when you are looking to purchase WiFi technology, most likely everything will say that it fits the IEEE 802.11 RFID standards, meaning it meets the WiFi standards.
